Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how sovre.io (operated by Dammar and Partners Pte. Ltd.) uses cookies and similar technologies. It accompanies our Privacy Policy and complies with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ePrivacy Directive, and the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They allow a website to recognise your device and remember information about your visit, such as preferences and analytics interactions. We use both first-party cookies (set by sovre.io) and third-party cookies (set by services we use).
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function. They cannot be disabled. Examples: storing your cookie consent choice, security tokens.
Analytics
Help us understand how visitors interact with the site, so we can improve content and performance. Set only if you accept analytics cookies. Provider: Google Analytics 4.
Marketing
Used to deliver personalised content and measure campaign performance. Currently not active; reserved for future use and only set with your explicit opt-in.
3. Specific cookies in use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expiry | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sovre_cookie_consent_v1 | sovre.io | Stores your cookie preferences | 12 months | Strictly necessary |
| _ga | Distinguishes users (GA4) | 2 years | Analytics | |
| _ga_<ID> | Maintains session state (GA4) | 2 years | Analytics |
4. Google Consent Mode v2
We use Google Consent Mode v2. By default, all non-essential storage is set to denied until you provide consent. Choosing "Accept all" updates the consent state to granted for the categories you accept. Choosing "Reject all" keeps everything denied; analytics signals (if any) are sent in cookieless, non-identifying form only where lawful.
5. Lawful basis
- GDPR / ePrivacy: we obtain your explicit, opt-in consent before setting any non-essential cookie. "Reject all" is offered with equal prominence to "Accept all".
- PDPA: we notify you of our purposes and obtain consent in line with Sections 13–14 of the Act.
6. Managing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:
- Click the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom-left of any page.
- Or click the link below.
- You can also clear cookies through your browser settings.
7. Do Not Track
Our site respects browser privacy signals. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as a request to refuse non-essential cookies.
8. Changes
We will publish updates to this policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
